This is a short one.
I think Tea Party is too dignified as a title to refer to the GOP Frankenastroturf organization that harps on Patriotic movements of yesteryear while pushing a radical form of corporate greed. However I think that "Teabagger" thing has lost it's overall usefulness as a double entendre. It's not working politically. See Massachusetts.
I propose that they are here after known as the "Tea Company", or as one respondent suggested the "Tea Corporation". I think this effectively points to their roots as an astroturf organization--thought up by Roger Ailes and Rupert Murdoch. They are a Fox Affiliate. Indeed Democrats ought to be pointing out that Tea Company founders are in some cases the direct desendents of East India Company men.
Apologies for the short entry: But I'd prefer we rebrand this monster in an effective way. Bagger doesn't cut it, and The Tea Party is far too "Founding Father" sounding to be allowed to stand. They are fascists posing as patriots and must be effectively cast as corporate lackeys or they will grow.
Please suggest some clever alternatives in comments if you so wish. Let it be a running thread.
